Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Overview
Remote Specialist Hub LLC ("Remote Specialist Hub," "we," "us," or "our") connects businesses with skilled remote professionals and provides outsourced business support services, including a client workspace, a specialist (worker) workspace, and consultation booking. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and workspaces at remotespecialisthub.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account registration. When you create a client account, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, company name, industry, company address, a username, and a password.
- Billing details. If you choose to add billing information, we collect a billing address and your preferred payment method. Card details are processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe — see Payment Processing.
- Consultation bookings. When you book a free consultation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (optional), and your preferred date and time.
- Contact and inquiry forms. When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message.
- Newsletter sign-up. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address.
- Service delivery. Once you're a client or specialist, we collect the information needed to deliver services — service requests, project details, messages exchanged through the platform's chat, support tickets, timesheets and availability (for specialists), documents you upload, and payment/invoice records.
- Specialist (worker) accounts. If you join as a specialist, we additionally collect skill level and assignment information used to match you with client projects.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a security cookie to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. See Cookies & Analytics.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our public website (pages viewed, general location, device/browser type).
- Log data. Our servers automatically record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your client, specialist, or administrator account;
- Verify your email address and authenticate sign-ins;
- Match clients with suitable specialists and coordinate service delivery;
- Schedule and manage consultation bookings;
- Process payments and maintain billing records;
- Respond to inquiries, support requests, and messages;
- Send service-related communications (confirmations, verification emails, account notices) and, if you've opted in, our newsletter;
- Monitor, secure, and improve the Service, including diagnosing technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the Service to function — for example, keeping you signed in to your workspace and protecting forms from cross-site request forgery. These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
We also use Google Analytics on our public website to understand aggregate traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics uses its own cookies and may process data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using your browser settings or available opt-out browser extensions.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With specialists and clients you engage with, to the extent needed to deliver the service you requested (for example, a specialist assigned to your project can see the relevant project details and messages);
- With service providers who help us operate the Service, such as our payment processor (Stripe), email delivery provider, and analytics provider (Google Analytics), each of whom is only permitted to use your information to provide services to us;
- For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Remote Specialist Hub, our users, or others; and
- With your consent, or at your direction.
6. Payment Processing
Payments and billing for our services are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers. Information you provide during checkout or billing setup (such as a billing address and payment method preference) is stored to maintain your account and invoicing history; card details are handled directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypting passwords, using secure sessions, and validating requests with anti-forgery tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your login credentials confidential.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and service-delivery information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you close your account, we may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as financial recordkeeping.
9. Your Rights & Choices
- Access and correction. You can review and update most of your account information from your workspace profile, or by contacting us.
- Deletion. You may request that we delete your account and associated personal information, subject to information we're required to retain for legal or accounting purposes.

10. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and working professionals. It is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
